The Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) is a statutory body established under the Pension Scheme Regulation Act No. 28 of 1996 and the Insurance Act No. 27 of 1997, responsible for regulating and supervising the pensions and insurance industries in Zambia.

Contact your insurance company or pension fund directly and give them a chance to resolve the issue.
If unsatisfied with the response, file a complaint online through our portal or visit our office with supporting documents.
PIA will acknowledge your complaint within 3 days and investigate within 10 business days per Regulation 19.
